Our luxury 2 bedroom apartment (sleeps up to 6 comfortably) is situated in the Cala Egos region of Cala Dor, one of the most picturesque resorts on the south east coast of Majorca.
Palma airport is approx 60km away and the journey takes 35mins. Cala Dor is now a vibrant and modern purpose built resort with a fantastic range of cafes, restaurants, family bars, music bars and a few nightclubs.
It was originally a fishing village and still retains this feeling with few, if any, high rise buildings.
The family atmosphere of Cala Dor is centred on the traditionally built Marina which is fast becoming one of the most cosmopolitan in Europe and is surrounded by an excellent choice of bars and restaurants offering local and international cuisine.
Cala Egos is quieter than Cala Dor but does offer the best of both worlds – it has a variety of bars and restaurants, as well as providing the essential supermarkets, shops and banks all within easy walking distance of the apartment.
A 10 minute stroll (3 minute taxi ride) will take you to Cala Dor town centre or you can take a slightly longer, more fun trip on the trolley train that runs at regular intervals during the day.
You are only a 2 minute walk away from one of the seven lovely beaches in a quiet and peaceful area on the edge of the resort but still within easy walking distance of all amenities.
The resort is suitable for people of all ages and offers excellent transport links to the neighbouring coves from Puerto Petro to Cala Figuera.
A car is not essential as there is an excellent bus and / or taxi service which links all areas of the island that operates 300 yards from the apartment.
The apartment also forms a great base for golfers, with 17 courses on the Island the nearest of which is a championship course Vall Dor , only 10 minutes in the car or taxi.
The apartment is fully air conditioned with a new system installed in May 2014. There is a ceiling fan in each of the bedrooms
The apartment is fully furnished to the highest standards with the towels and linen replaced on a regular basis. The good sized rooms are light and airy with patio doors opening out from the lounge onto the large balcony area with views of the landscaped gardens.
There is a fully fitted modern kitchen with breakfast bar. The apartment is fully air-conditioned (installed May 2014) with heating, humidity and cooling facility. In addition to the A/C there is a ceiling fan in the smaller bedroom.
There are 2 marble bathrooms with the largest one ensuite to the main bedroom. It has a full size bath with shower attachment and two wash basins. The second bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink and WC.

- Balance due : 12 weeks prior to arrival via Cheque

Please Note : In addition to the rental amount, a key/security deposit of £250 is required and should accompany the final payment as a separate cheque. This security deposit is required to cover the cost of breakages, loss or damage to furnishings, bedding or keys etc. The security deposit will be returned / destroyed within 14 days of your return and you will not be charged for what is considered minor wear and tear.
- IMPORTANT: As of the 01/07/2016 guests are now obliged to pay ECOTAX on their stay. Once your booking is confirmed the agency will confirm the exact amount and the payment process. To give you an idea of the cost it will be approx 1.10 euros per person (over the age of 15) per day for the first 8 nights. From the 9th night forward, there is a discount of 50%.
