The Finca Sa Mina is a restored mine dating back to 1900. It has a living area of 360 sqm and a plot of 2,500 sqm, in a rural quiet and quaint area located about 2 km from the village Selva (in the center-north of the island).

It was restored with historical reference, using the original architectural elements. The Finca Sa Mini is tastefully furnished in Majorcan style, parts of the walls are made of natural stone tiles or wooden beams, which are typical of Mallorca. It has a capacity for 12 people with 6 double bedrooms and 6 bathrooms (it has another bathroom in the garden).

It is a spacious house with plenty of light, which is divided into 4 floors. On the ground floor there is a large hall with a window wall that gives plenty of light and a beautiful view of the terrace and the pool. It has an open, well-equipped kitchen with a large dining table. At the same time there is an area to relax with comfortable sofas, with exit to the terrace. There are 2 double bedrooms (one bedroom with two beds 80x200cm and the other bedroom with a bed of 150x190cm), and 2 full bathrooms (one en suite).

On the first floor there is a living / dining room with sofas around the fireplace and an open kitchen. This room has access to a terrace with a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains and the countryside. There are 2 double bedrooms (one bedroom with 2 beds 80x200cm and access to the balcony); and another bedroom with a double bed 150x190cm). There are also 2 full bathrooms (one en suite).

Situation

The house is located at 2 km from Selva, a charming little village which defines silence and tranquillity and where agriculture and farming are still used and old customs maintain. This region is characterized by its cultivation of olive and almond trees.

In the village you can find a small supermarket, cafes and restaurants near the market square. Every Wednesday there is a weekly market with natural and local products.

You can also visit the larger village of Inca (4 km) with a great choice of restaurants, supermarkets, bars, cafes etc. The weekly market takes place every Thursday.

The house is located at the foot of the Tramuntana Mountains, a vast area of Mediterranean vegetation and surrounded by mountains and countryside. It is the largest and most appreciated mountains of the Balearic Islands and was declared a World Heritage Site. A series of rugged mountains and fertile valleys, associated with canyons. A landscape which inspired artists such as Chopin, George Sand or Robert Graves.

In the Tramuntana Mountains there are various landscapes like cliffs, stone villages, forest and cultivation. It offers many opportunities for cycling, hiking, adventure sports, diving, sailing, golf etc.

For golf lovers there is the the Golf Son Termens (33 km distance) in the northwest of Mallorca or the golf Alcanada in the north of the island at the same distance.

The bay of Alcudia and the beach of Pollenca, 25 km away, belong to the most privileged of the Mediterranean beaches. There are a variety of beaches for all tastes: fine sand, large and small gravel, etc. The beach of Muro is a beach with calm waters and moderate waves, with fine golden sand and stretches of pine forests. Particularly noteworthy is the area "Es Comú de Muro", a pristine beach, which belongs to the Natural Park S'Albufera.

The airport of Palma de Mallorca Airport is approximately 40km.

Exterior

The attraction of this property are the many terraces from which you can enjoy spectacular views of the countryside and mountains of the Sierra de Tramuntana.

The exterior of the property consists of a garden with a very good maintained lawn, planted areas and surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation such as olive trees and palm trees. It is a unique and quiet place, the perfect place to rest and relax, and where the children can run and play.

There is a nice pool of 11 m x 5.50 m with a depth of 0.90 m to 1.80 m with 12 sunbeds.

The house has a large terrace, partly covered overlooking the pool and a large dining table. At the side of the pool there is a veranda with a stone barbecue to enjoy delicious meals outdoors. There is also a bathroom and a ping pong table.

There is no better place to spend your holidays and to enjoy a deep sense of peace and silence.
